To enable standard output power level in WiFi6E routers and mesh nodes, the WiFi device needs to report its position to the AFC database and receive approval for using the selected output power level.
The more accurate the position reported the more the chances to get approval to switch from low power mode to standard power mode with significant benefit in terms of range and coverage.
